By downloading, accessing, or using Fluto, you consent to this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection and use of information as described below.

Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy is applicable to websites, applications, events, and other services operated under the FLUTO. To simplify, we collectively refer to these as our “services” in this Privacy Policy. If a feature links to a third-party service (for example, Google Maps, Meta SDKs, or insurance providers), their respective privacy policies will apply.

Information We Collect

When you use Fluto, we may collect the following data:

  • Your account information (name, email address, phone numbers, profile photo)
  • Your pet’s information (name, breed, age, records, photo, health data)
  • App usage data (feature interactions, subscription status)
  • Device data (device type, operating system, usage analytics)
  • Content you post in Fluto PawCircle and QR Code features
  • Linked social media profiles (if provided voluntarily)
  • Location data to show nearby pet services (with your consent). You can disable location access anytime in device settings.

  • If you sign in through Apple, Google, or Facebook, we may access your basic profile info (name, email) as permitted by those platforms. You can revoke this access through your account settings. Interaction logs for app features to help improve performance and functionality. Subscription and payment data (processed via Apple In-App Purchases). IP address, location data (if permission is granted), and usage trends. Device identifiers, operating system, app version, crash reports, and session analytics.

How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Provide, operate and improve App features and functionality
  • Personalize your experience with AI-driven insights and reminders
  • Enable Fluto PawCircle and other community features
  • Process Subscription payments, support premium features and connect you to local pet services.
  • Share your contact information with selected pet insurance providers through the App (with your permission).
  • Send important notifications, updates, reminders, or promotions.

  • Detect, prevent and address security and frauds.

Sharing Of Information

Fluto does not sell your data. Your information may only be shared with:

  • With service providers for hosting, analytics, customer support and payments.
  • When using QR code feature your name and number would be publicly visible in order to contact you when your pet is in danger
  • Legal Compliance: If required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Fluto, users, or others.
  • Corporate Transaction if Fluto merges or sells
  • With insurance providers if you express interest in pet insurance banner, for the purpose of contacting you with relevant offers. We are not insurers or brokers.

Data Security

Fluto uses industry-standard encryption and security practices to safeguard your data. However, no online service is 100% secure. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that: Fluto is not responsible for unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss of data that occurs beyond our control. You use the app at your own risk. Fluto is not a substitute for veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a licensed veterinarian before making decisions about your pet’s health. We never store your Apple or Google passwords when you sign in using Apple or Google. Fluto is not responsible for any unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure of your data that occurs beyond our reasonable control. We recommend users take additional measures to protect their accounts, such as using strong passwords and keeping login credentials private. Fluto may integrate third-party SDKs (such as Meta, Google, Apple, Firebase, or similar providers) to measure performance, improve functionality, and deliver analytics. These SDKs may collect limited technical data (e.g., device ID, crash logs, session metrics) for operational or advertising purposes. Fluto does not share or transmit personal, medical, or pet-health data with such SDKs providers without users explicit consent. SDK data collection and processing are governed by their own privacy policies and operate independently of Fluto’s control. If any SDK provider collects or uses information without Fluto’s authorization or consent, such activity is unauthorized and solely the responsibility of that provider. Fluto and McLanSys Solutions Private Limited are not liable for any misuse, unauthorized access, or data breaches originating from third-party SDKs. 

Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide services, comply with laws, and resolve disputes. Uploaded content, usage data, and device logs are stored securely and deleted when no longer needed or upon your account deletion request.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have right to:

  • Access and correct your personal data.
  • Opt out of email marketing and notifications.
  • Revoke location permission anytime from your phone settings
  • Delete your account and all associated data.
  • Manage sharing of your content in Fluto PawCircle;.
  • Withdraw consent for data processing (where applicable under local law).
  • Cancel Premium Subscription: If you have purchased Fluto Premium or other paid services through the In-app purchases (Apple) or other services, you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time directly from your phone’s account settings. Fluto does not process subscription cancellations or refunds directly.

Data Erasure (GDPR / User Request)

You can request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting contactus@fluto.app or using the Delete Account option within the app. All data will be erased within 30 days, unless retention is required by law.

Links to Other Websites

Fluto may contain links to external services such as vet directories, insurance providers, or social platforms. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites. We advise you to review their privacy policies before interacting with those services.

Children’s Privacy

Fluto is not intended for use by children under 12 years of age without parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 12. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete the data promptly.

Document Uploads

Documents you upload are private to your account and not accessible to other users. Fluto does not access, view, validate, or share uploaded documents except to provide services or comply with legal requirements. We disclaim liability for inaccuracies or misuse of uploaded documents.

Pet Explorer Map & Local Listings

Fluto’s pet explorer map feature may display nearby groomers, walkers, trainers, veterinarians, pet shops, and other third-party providers for your convenience. These listings are supplied by third parties or publicly available sources and may change without notice. We do not endorse, screen, verify, or guarantee any listing’s license status, quality, pricing, availability, safety, hours, or suitability. You are solely responsible for verifying details directly with the provider before visiting or purchasing (including licenses, reviews, insurance, health/safety practices, and cancellation/refund terms). Providers are independent third parties, and Fluto/McLanSys Solutions Private Limited is not liable for any loss, injury, damages, or disputes that arise from your interactions with them. Please report inaccurate listings to contactus@fluto.app so we can review and update where appropriate.

Cookies & Analytics

Our website may use basic cookies and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to analyze traffic and performance. Cookies do not store personally identifiable information and can be disabled in browser settings.
